Rebecca Hall Set to Star in David Bruckner's Horror Thriller THE NIGHT HOUSE for Anton

Anton announced today that Golden Globe® nominee Rebecca Hall (Christine, The Gift) will star in the horror thriller The Night House.  The film will be directed by David Bruckner (The Ritual, V/H/S,) and based on a script written by Ben Collins and Luke Piotrowski (Stephanie, Super Dark Times). The Night House follows a widow who begins to uncover her recently deceased husband's disturbing secrets.

David S. Goyer (Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, The Dark Knight) and Keith Levine (47 Metres Down, “Scream: The TV Series””) are producing under their Phantom Four production company.  Anton is fully financing, executive producing and handling worldwide sales. Harold van Lier, Anton’s President of Distribution, will begin selling the film at EFM in Berlin this week. Endeavor Content is co-repping the U.S. rights with Anton. Recently appointed EVP of Acquisitions & Co-Productions, John Zois, will oversee the project on behalf of Anton. The film is scheduled to shoot in May.

Hall is in production on Warner Bros.’ Godzilla vs. Kong, which is slated for a 2020 release. She will soon begin lensing Passing, which she has adapted for the screen and also marks her directorial debut. Upcoming she appears in Max Minghella’s Teen Spirit and she was recently seen starring in Angela Robinson’s Professor Marston and the Wonder Women.

Bruckner most recently directed the horror thriller The Ritual which debuted at the 2017 Toronto International Film Festival and was picked up for distribution by Netflix.  His 2007 directorial debut, The Signal, debuted at the 2007 Sundance Film Festival.

Hall is represented by Julian Belfrage Associates, WME and attorneys Hansen & Jacobson. Anton’s VP of Development, Laura Wilson, negotiated the deal with Endeavor Content on behalf of Phantom Four.

Phantom Four, which Goyer runs with Levine, is currently in post-production on the horror-thriller Antlers for Fox Searchlight with Scott Cooper directing and Guillermo del Toro also producing. Next up for Goyer is Deeper at MGM with Baltasar Kormakur directing as well as season two of Syfy’s Krypton, and the first season of Issac Asimov's “Foundation” for Apple.
