GARY LUCAS 'TOUCHED BY GRACE--MY TIME WITH JEFF BUCKLEY"--NYC AND PARIS INSTORE APPEARANCES FOR MY NEW BOOK

Just arrived now in wonderful lovely Paris and staying at my favorite Hotel Terrass in Montmartre! I am here to do an instore signing and a solo acoustic performance tomorrow in support of the English language version of my new book "TOUCHED BY GRACE--MY TIME WITH JEFF BUCKLEY" which was published on Oct 25th by Jawbone Press in the UK.

Here's a photo from my NYC instore Monday night:

The response has been very gratifying indeed, with a 4 Star review in he latest issue of MOJO magazine being the icing on the cake--and many many readers have sent personal notes to me since the book was first published in Italian a year ago by Arcana.

On Monday night Nov. 4th I did an instore appearance in NYC at Bookbook in the West Village, and the place was packed with well-wishers. I sold many copies that night and played my heart out, not only some of my famous songs co-written with Jeff Buckley such as "Grace" and "Mojo Pin" (with guest vocalists by Alexander Bishop) but many selections from over 20 plus solo albums I have released in multiple genres--check out my bio at http://garylucas.com/www/bio and discography at http://garylucas.com/www/disc

Tomorrow I am performing at the legendary Shaeksepare and Company Bookshop in the shadow of Notre Dame, run by Syvia Whitman. It is one of the coolest spots in Paris, and this will be my third appearane performing there--albeit my first time with a book in tow hopefully not the last). I then head to the UK to start a solo tour also based on my book, with performances in Bristol next Wed. and then London's Southbank Centre on Thursday Nov. 13th, where my guests singers will include Najma Akhtar, Mari Conti and Frances Brennand Roper.

MORE LATER!!
