The 19th edition River to River Florence Indian Film Festival starts tomorrow

FESTIVAL OPENING
EXHIBITIONS AND BOLLYWOOD PARTY

 
 

 



The 19th edition River to River Florence Indian Film Festival will take place from 5 to 10 December at cinema La Compagnia in Florence (Via Cavour 50 r).

PRE-OPENING EVENT  
The pre-opening event of the Festival will be the photo exhibition Quel che resta dell'India by Umberto Coa and Nicolò Panzeri, at Fondazione Studio Marangoni (Via San Zanobi 19r), Thursday 5 December at 6 pm. 

 

OPENING FILM 
The Festival will open on Thursday December 5th with the beautiful The Sky is Pink, based on a a true story. Big success at the Toronto Film Festival and starring Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra, it will be introduced in Florence by the director Shonali Bose.

Friday 6 December, along with the screenings of the Festival at cinema La Compagnia, there will be the opening of the photo show Mystic India by Parul Sharma, at Museo Marino Marini (Piazza San Pancrazio) at 6 pm.

RIVER TO RIVER BOLLYWOOD PARTY
On Friday night, after the screening of the vibrant comedy Badhaai Ho at 8.30 pm, you are all invited at 11 pm at the River to River Bollywood Party at Amblè (Piazzetta dei Del Bene 7a), free entrance, with the music of Dj Kalè.
