Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival presents its Tallinn Industry Days 2012 (November 26 - 28, 2012)
Tallinn Industry Days boasts a line-up of Asian and North American professionals. The top movers from Asian and American independent industry from producers to financiers, festivals amd institutions are meeting up in Estonia this fall on 26 -28 November to boost their cooperation across continents, Estonia and North-Eastern Europe. Multinational hits, Asian project markets, potential genre biz, and crowd funding are tackled in a two day meet with an unique finance and matching program with local startup and risk capital leaders.
Black Nights FF in its 16th edition has gained a reputation as a leading festival of the region and is this time attracting industry leadres on a global scale. Due to the unique geographical location of Estonia in the borders of Scandinavia, Western Europe and CIS, and last but not the least - next to the shortest route from Asia and Amreica's to Europe via Helsinki, the Tallinn Black Nights Film festival is well on the way to become the meeting hub of Asian and North-American film professionals with their Northern-European, Scandinavian and CIS peers in the Winter season. Following the sucess of the previous year's edition, the Black Nights Industry Days returns with even stronger focus on Asian-European-US networking, inspiring and real life based sessions and international producer matching program. Tallinn Industry Days is proud to present distinguished speakers from Asia, Europe and North America such as Oh Jungwan (Korea, Come Rain Come Shine), Lorna Tee (Hong Kong-Malaysia, Postcards from Zoo), Yukie Kito (Japan, Tokyo Sonata), Steven Hoban (Canada, 338 Arletta Avenue), Peter van Steemburg (Magnolia Pictures) and others who will put the emphasis on the benefits gained from real life experience and case studies from award winning festival hits of multinational productions.
