Taiwan Biennial Film Festival 2019 presented by Taiwan Academy in Los Angeles and UCLA Film & Television Archive is taking place from Oct 18 to Oct 28. We hope to bring together not only movers and shakers in the industry, but long-time friends and supporters of Taiwan Academy to celebrate this wonderful event with us. The complete 2019 line-up includes exciting Los Angeles and North American film premieres. The event will also feature a unique "Focus on Taiwan" forum (free admission!) on Oct 19 showcasing special guests exploring timely issues related to Taiwan’s burgeoning film industry and the country as a leader in embracing gender equity and LGBTQ representation both in front and behind the camera. For the opening screening of Taiwan Biennial Film Festival 2019, it'll be scheduled below: Date: Friday, Oct 18 2019 Venue: Billy Wilder Theater at the Hammer Museum (10899 Wilshire Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90024) 7:30pm: Film screening-Heavy Craving (North American premier.
