7,000 people apply for first on-line casting search for an European Film
Campbell Ryan Productions & BeActive are delighted to announce that over 7,000 people so far have participate in the On-line Casting for the Horror Feature Film 'Final Punishment.'

Campbell Ryan Productions & BeActive are delighted to announce that over 7,000 people so far have participate in the On-line Casting for the Horror Feature Film 'Final Punishment.' Producer's Triona Campbell & Nuno Bernardo are 'delighted with the success of the initiative so far, the first of it's kind in Ireland.' The On-line casting was organized through a MySpace page that attracted horror fans from all over the world, from the USA, to Australia, Brazil and almost all the European countries.

The on-line casting initiative ends 30th of April so its predictable that the final numbers will surpass the 12,000 participants. Shooting of Final Punishment starts in May 2007 and the movie will have a release in Halloween 2007. Say's Trevor Curran of Campbell Ryan Productions 'we are more than confident that we will find the right talent to put before the camera for this Feature Film which will star the eight actresses found through the casting process trapped in a Prison fighting for their lives.

Producers are looking for eight actresses to play the parts of the 8 main characters in the film, a thriller/horror type of story set in a Women's prison. To help candidates to get all the information about the Movie and the casting process, the producing company set up a Web site available at www.finalpunishment.net. To let fans be part of the development of the movie the producers also created a MySPACE community page available at www.myspace.com/finalpunishment.

Women 18 to 54 years old, that love movies and want the chance to star in a feature film should simply grab their mobile phone and record an audition video. It only takes a few seconds and a good scary scream. After they screamed themselves out, candidates should send their Video screaming audition masterpiece to casting(at)finalpunishment.net before April 30th 2007. The scariest screams will be posted on the film website, to be voted by an On-line Community.

The Story of Final Punishment
Eight women convicted for violent crimes find themselves trapped in a prison where there are no rules and where darkness has only one meaning - death. A shapeless executor is killing the convicts in the same way they committed their crimes. As the mysterious deaths mount up, suspicion grows amongst the prisoners. In a race against time, they will have to overcome rivalries and dig back into their past to find the missing link that can set them free. Who brought them there and what for? Will they be able to escape alive? Or will the merciless punisher make them all pay for their crimes?
