Nostradamus panel – Beyond 50/50 The Future of Gender Parity and Inclusion

Nostrapanel2020_3.jpg

January 31 the 7th Nostradamus report from Göteborg Film Festival will be presented by media analyst and author Johanna Koljonen, followed by a panel focusing on the future of gender parity, diversity and inclusion.

Numerous programmes championing and debating gender equality, diversity and inclusion are finally creating change within the audiovisual industries. What are the future prospects for gender parity in film and television? How can the industry ensure social sustainability and progress towards more intersectional strategies in the years to come?

Göteborg Film Festival, long having sought to showcase diversity, launched the initiative 50/50 Vision for the 2020 festival edition. This year, half of the films in the programme are directed by women. Read more about the 50/50 Vision initiative here

Panel: Iram Haq, director (What will people say?, I Am Yours), Norway; Anna Serner CEO, Swedish Film Institute, Sweden; Bérénice Vincent, Co-founder of Collectif 50/50 and Sales agent at Totem Film, France; Rhys Ernst, director/producer (Adam, Transparent) United States. Moderated by Johanna Koljonen.

The session will be introduced by CEO Mirja Wester and Artistic Director Jonas Holmberg from Göteborg Film Festival.

Time: January 31 15.30
Venue: Biopalatset (Kungstorget 2) Göteborg

The 7th report will be available at 18:00 January 31, as well as the previous editions, at
