Göteborg Film Festival Works in projects and Discovery lineup announced

13 Nordic works in progress will be presented at this year's online edition of Nordic Film Market, taking place February 4 – February 7, 2021.


As the leading marketplace in the region, the Nordic Film Market comprises a curated programme of new and upcoming Nordic films and talents.

The Nordic Film Market programme will be presented at the festival’s digital industry platform available to the market delegates. The Works in progress and Discovery projects will be presented in dynamic broadcasted sessions on February 5. The presentations will also be available to watch afterwards. Exclusive one-on-one meetings between the projects and market delegates will be followed after the presentations, by invitation only.

The selected works in progress at the 23rd edition of Nordic Film Market are:

Clara Sola (Sweden) directed by Nathalie Álvarez Mesén, produced by Nima Yousefi, Hob Ab.

Cop Secret (Iceland) directed by Hannes Thór Halldórsson, produced by Lilja Ósk Snorradóttir, Pegasus.

Discovery - films in development

8 films in development will be presented at this year's Discovery, February 5.



Discovery is Göteborg Film Festival’s platform for promoting new Nordic film projects in development. Discovery provides an opportunity for the international and Scandinavian film industry to discover and get in touch with new Nordic talents and film projects in an early stage.

The selected films in development at Discovery 2021 are:
