In this playful period comedy, charming womanizer Captain Neuville (Jean Dujardin, The Artist) is called to battle right before he marries the naïve Pauline. When Pauline doesn’t hear from Neuville for months, her sister Elizabeth (Mélanie Laurent, Inglorious Basterds) begins writing Pauline fake letters from Neuville. To Elizabeth's dismay, he unexpectedly returns and slips into the facade she created, exploiting his newfound war hero status. Screening at 6:30 PM.
Later at 8:30 PM, celebrate the opening of French Cinema Now 2018 by sipping some wine from Nicolas Feuillatte and Le Fervent while indulging in delectable bites at Bastille Café & Bar.

Director Thomas Lilti (Hippocrates) - a medical practitioner himself - captures a surprising authenticity throughout this engaging drama, aided by rising stars Vincent Lacoste and William Lebghil.

Castro (Jean-Pierre Bacri, C'est La Vie), an aging, famous TV host is invited to his producer's (Léa Drucker) party at her new countryside estate. Included among the celebrity guests are his ex-wife, current girlfriend, and his daughter - whose newly published book has main characters that seem suspiciously like her parents. Director Agnès Jaoui reunites with her co-writer (and ex-husband) Bacri in this witty new comedy-of-manners.
Prior to the film, there will be a special half hour-long wine-tasting event, replete with delicious selections from Chateau Ste Michelle Winery. Come early and sip some wine before seeing this crowd-pleasing comedy of manners.
