has been presented to
"My Flesh and Blood" by Jonathan Karsh (USA, 2003)

"With this sort of emotive topic the film could easily have lend itself to sentimental treatment. Instead, the director handels the theme with passion but also evenhandedness and craft."

Prize for a Short Documentary Film
to "The Very Best Day" (Samy luchshy den) by Pavel Medvedev (Russia, 2003)

"Like a perfectly crafted short story, this beautifully executed film married form and content harmoniously, managing to be meditative, cinematic and elegant in its use of sound".
