In order to ensure better development of cinematic culture and to its fundamental training, Jaipur International Film Festival along with Central Circuit Cine Association is conducting a workshop on important segments of filmmaking like Film Script Writing, Screenplay Writing And Dialogue Writing from 19th to 21st October, 2012. The four day workshop will be conducted in the Film Bhavan Auditorium, behind Dainik Bhaskar, Jaipur.
During this special occasion, the seminars on the 100 Year Journey Of Indian Cinema and the Market for Short and Documentary Films will also be conducted. Please note that during the script writing workshop, there will be a screening of the Academy Award winning film- A Seperation (Iran), Academy Award nominee- The Road Home (India) , Little Terrorist (India) and Cannes nominee- Mombatti (India). Besides, there will be the screening of Sakshi Tanwar starring film Banwara Mann. The screening of all the films will take place in the Film Bhawan Auditorium, behind Dainik Bhaskar, Jaipur.
The screening of the films will be made on 19th and 21st October and will commence from 6:30 PM onwards at Film Bhawan Auditorium. Kindly note that no entry fee will be charged for the same. The general public can simply make their presence and watch the movies.
Additionally, on the 20th and 21st of October, 2012 from 5:00 PM onwards there will be two special seminars to be conducted on the celebrating the special occasion of the 100 years of Indian Cinema and Short and Documentary Film Bzaar.
It is worth notable that those who come to participate in the workshop can also acquire the membership form for the ‘Film Writers Association’. From this year onwards, no fee of any sort will be charged to the participants in the workshop belonging to the Below Poverty Line and those writers who cannot bear the fee for admission. With 30 seats to be available overall, no fee registration will be done on 6 seats for economically weak participants. For the same purpose, a committee comprising of 3 members has been formed to take all the necessary decisions.
For the media journalists, additional 6 seats will be available with 50% discount on per seat basis.
