COVID-19 Positive update:The online version of Ca’ Foscari Short Film Festival was a success

Waiting for finding out the new dates of the postponed edition, Ca’ Foscari Short Film Festival kept its promises without stopping despite all the obstacles. From Wednesday 25th until Saturday 28th – the originally scheduled days for this edition - an alternative, digital, wireless, free version of the festival available on social media and website  http://cafoscarishort.unive.it/en/category/cfsff-wireless-eng/ more than twenty of the finest short movies that took part in the past editions of the International Competition.

Some guests from past editions actively supported this initiative. They were enthusiast to do something in this difficult moment for the whole film industry, sending us original video messages that were released each day before the short movies’ programme. Audience was pleased to see again, among others, directors such as Fusako Yusaki, Luca Miniero, Hiroki Hayashi, Barry Purves, Robb Pratt, Giannalberto Bendazzi, Małgorzata Zajaçzkowska, Marcin Bortkiewicz, Teresa Cavina, Ülo Pikkov, Roberta Torre, Leonardo Carrano, Patrice Leconte, Anamaria Marinca, Keiko Kusakabe, Maaria Sayed, Ayat Najafi, Gitanjali Rao, Takashi Shimizu, and Makoto Shinkai.
