Alvernia Studios has become a partner of international co-production market Gotham in Progress, which will take place in November during the 2. American Film Festival in Wroclaw. Krakow based film company has established one of the awards.

International co-production market Gotham in Progress 2011 will take place on November 17th -19th , 2011 in Wroclaw, in the south-west Poland, during the second edition of American Film Festival. During two-day market event independent American directors and producers will present 10-15 carefully selected works-in-progress - projects of feature films on different stage of development (including 5 on the last stage).

Gotham in Progress' main focus is on the completion and European distribution of American indie feature films at the post-production stage. This get-together will offer US independent feature films the opportunity to exist at European festivals and European cinemas through meetings with movie professionals. The organizers offer a place of direct exchange with professionals - producers, distributors, sales agents, festival managers and post-production companies - as the stepping stone towards reaching new audiences.

Besides the deals resulting from the meetings there are awards to take for the best projects of Gotham in Progress. Alvernia Studios (http://www.alvernia.com/), which offers a full range of services starting with a negative laboratory with telecine transfers, followed by scanning to advanced VFX department and 4K colour correction in real-time, has established one of the awards. The Krakow based film studio will offer to the winner free post-production service -creating opening and end credits.
