The 62nd BFI London Film Festival programme revealed!

We’re thrilled to reveal the programme for the 62nd BFI London Film Festival featuring a diverse selection of films from both established and emerging talent. This celebration of cinema illustrates the richness of international filmmaking, with films to delight and entertain – and ones that probe and interrogate issues of significance.

This year, the Festival hosts 21 World Premieres, 9 International Premieres and 29 European Premieres – and welcomes a stellar line-up of cast and crew for many of the films.

The 225-feature programmes include: 46 documentaries, 4 animations, 18 archive restorations and 7 artists’ moving image features. The line-up also includes 160 short films, with 77 countries represented across short films and features.

During the 12-day Festival, we bring you Galas, Special Presentations, Competitive sections and an events programme with some of the world’s most inspiring creative leaders. Our strands (Love, Debate, Laugh, Dare, Thrill, Cult, Journey, Create, Experimenta, Family and Treasures) are back, providing you with pathways to navigate the extensive programme of the world’s best new films.

Without further ado, we invite you to dive right in.
