3 feature films make up this year program. We open with “Michelangelo - Endless” the first ever art film made about the Renaissance creative genius Michelangelo Buonarroti. A must see for the big screen, this astonishing documentary combines the most advanced filming technologies to examine the most famous pieces and portray the immortal personality of one of the greatest artists the world has ever seen.

Here the world of cinema and art meet to paint a portrait of a man who was secretive as well as troubled. Through the immense beauty of his most famous works: the Sistine Chapel ceiling, the Pietà and statue of David, among others, Michelangelo emerges as a master of sharp contrasts and strong passions. The film exposes an artist who proved great courage when displaying his beliefs and ideologies. Director Emanuele Imbucci’s evocative film is testament to the fact that Michelangelo’s rich and varied works of art made an everlasting mark on the history of art that can never be forgotten.
The docu-film will be introduced by the lead actor, Enrico Lo Verso.
