The New Orleans Film Society (NOFS) announced that the 22nd annual New Orleans French Film Festival will be held between February 15 - 21, 2019, once again at the historical Prytania Theatre. Last year, the festival reached a record audience of about 4000 attendees and NOFS expects the festival to grow even more next February!

The 22nd French Film Festival will showcase excellence in contemporary and classic French-language cinema from France, Canada, Belgium, Switzerland and other French-speaking countries and regions. Live music and lectures will accompany a curated selection of French and French language feature films and a program of short films. Prior to the opening night film, join a dedicated audience of Francophiles, cinephiles, sponsors, and patrons for a champagne toast at a private residence, a few blocks from the Prytania Theatre.

PASSES ARE ON HOLIDAY SALE

The 22nd French Film Festival passes are on Holiday Sale with a discounted price until January 2nd. There are two types of passes festival-goers can choose from: The Regular Pass gives festival-goers access to all screenings and events at a mere cost of $80 while the Patron Pass includes all benefits of the regular pass in addition to an invite to the Patron Party which will be held prior to the Opening Night film at a New Orleans residence a few blocks away from the Prytania Theatre.

New Orleans Film Society's Scene Stealer, Producer's Circle and Executive Producer's Circle members get two complimentary French Film Festival passes. Moviegoer and Take Two members get $15 off of passes. Visit neworleansfilmsociety.org to become a member or to buy a French Film Festival Pass.

FESTIVAL PROGRAM TO BE ANNOUNCED IN JANUARY

The complete 22nd French Film Festival lineup will be announced in January. Individual tickets will be available to book for #FFF2019 passholders and New Orleans Film Society members on January 29th, and will go on sale on February 5th for the general public. Tickets will be $10 for New Orleans Film Society members and $13 for non-members.
