Every film festival thrives on encounters, exchange and discussion! In order to create as much of a festival atmosphere as possible this year, DOK.fest München 2021 @home offers you a variety of opportunities in addition to the films: experience our festive award ceremonies at the Deutsches Theater @home, exchange ideas with the film teams at our daily DOK.live Film Talks, meet us and our guests at the Meet & Greet at the digital festival lounge and send your feedback on the films directly to the film team.

DOK.live Award Ceremonies

Clear the stage for our winning films: From 07 to 21 May, we will present our award ceremonies for the first time on our website. Guests will include representatives of the jury as well as the award winners, among them already known – but also many new ones.

The VFF Production Award will go to THE OTHER SIDE OF THE RIVER by Antonia Kilian. The prize will be awarded to the producers Frank Müller, Guevara Namer and Antonia Kilian.

Direct exchange with the film teams: At our DOK.live Film Talks every evening until 16 May at 8.00pm, you will have the opportunity to talk to the filmmakers and protagonists present and ask questions.
