DocsMX announces its Official Selection 2019

DocsMX would like to thank the 1,373 filmmakers who believe in this festival and answered the call for entries. The festival wouldn’t exist without you. After a long and enriching process of deliberation and evaluation it is our honor to announce the 2019 Official Selection, comprised of 79 films from 29 countries, divided into 11 sections.

Ever conscious of the responsibility to represent our changing world, especially in these times of crises both human and ecological, we seek programming that represents a diversity of voices and realities; one that promotes empathy through our increasingly digital sphere. DocsMX also gives voice to documentaries made in México, made with DocsMX, made at home. We are proud to announce that almost half of the official selection are Mexican productions or co-productions.

Finally, we invite you all to join us for the 14th edition of DocsMX, a festival created for you!

See you October 10-19!
