101 YEAR-OLD ROSALEE GLASS ATTENDS 71st CANNES FILM FESTIVAL FOR HER FILM "REINVENTING ROSALEE" (2018)Cannes International Film Festival Market screening of documentary “Reinventing Rosalee,” the inspiring film that teaches one is never too old to reinvent one's self. Rosalee Glass survived life in concentration camps during WWII and is today one of the war's oldest survivors. Not only has she recently reached 101 years of age but every day she reinvents herself, learning new things, crossing dreams off her bucket list. Rarely has there been a true story such as this that not only tells a tale of survival against all odds but shows how positive thinking leads to long life and that one is never too old to take on challenges and live life to the fullest. “Reinventing Rosalee” will be screened at the Marche on Friday, May 11th at 2:00PM in Gray Room 5 and on Tuesday May 15 at 2:00PM in Gray Room 5. SUMMARY: “Reinventing Rosalee.” Rosalee Glass, a 101-year-old Holocaust survivor, born in Warsaw Poland was taken prisoner to a Russian gulag in Siberia during WW2. After being taken to Kazakhstan and later to a Displaced Persons Camp in Germany, she made her way to America. She shares her story of survival and transforms her destiny by living her life to the fullest after a life-changing tragedy during her senior years, where she lost her son and her will to live. But miraculously, she found the strength that would transform her life and enable her to live her dreams. In her late 80's, she started an acting career. At 94 won 'Miss Congeniality' in a Senior beauty pageant. She was seen by millions in a Super Bowl commercial at 97 and wrote a book sharing her secrets to a long life at 99. And at age 100 she dares to ride with Alaskan Sled Dogs. The film is a touching and inspirational and that shows us it's "never too late to live your dream,"- even at 101. />05909www.reinvemtingrosalee.com is where you can get information about the film.
