What are the ultimate cars we've seen in films?

Résultat d’images pour 1964 Aston Martin DB5 – Goldfinger

Cars have somewhat become very important in regards to the movie industry, they have made certain films iconic and more memorable. Sometimes, the cars become more famous than the film ending up being showcased all across the world in a number of festivals making them their own characters within the script. Certain cars bring a unique ‘swagger’ to the film and can turn a scene from boring to exciting. Remember though, no matter whether the car is seen as extraordinary or not, insurance is matter of importance regardless of the calibre of the vehicle. That’s why if you ever find yourself without any insurance, a logical idea can be getting short term insurance and to find the best quotes, head over to http://www.shorttermcarinsurance.org.uk/ where you’ll gain a better understanding in what insurance will suit you best.

Now that you’re covered, let’s have a look at some of the ultimate cars we’ve seen in films:

1964 Aston Martin DB5 – Goldfinger

The James Bond franchise contains a legacy of famous cars, but the most ultimate one that always pops into people’s mind is the beautiful DB5. Even without any of the James Bond modifications, this car is a work of art. The special effects are what made this car so iconic and arguably the best car throughout the entire James Bond franchise. The car contains a long list of cool tricks such as: ram bumper, machine guns, ejector seat, smoke screen, oil-slick sprayer and more. There no arguing that this car is high up on the list of best classic movie car of all time.

1981 DeLorean DMC-12 – Back to the Future

This car had so much importance with the Back to the Future franchise and visually it was a stainless steel stunner, designed by the legendary Giorgetto Giugiaro. Despite the film being based on time travel, the car itself had its own futuristic look, combined with a bit of movie magic is what gave this car its legendary status. Even though the car failed to make an impact on the market, the car’s unique, retro-futurist design has earned it a cult following today.

Cadillac Miller – Ghostbusters

When we first saw the Cadillac Miller-Meteor ambulance in Ghostbuster, it was a rusty wreck, yet after Ray did his extensive repairs on it, it soon gained the nickname ‘Ecto 1’ and became a symbol of the Ghostbusters crew. Everyone remembers this vehicle as is it was capable of carrying all of the Ghostbusters kit needed to complete their jobs, thus making Ecto 1 one of the most memorable and ultimate symbols of the Ghostbusters franchise

1973 XB GT Ford Falcon – Mad Max

The Ford Falcon is a very fast car, with a 351-cid V8 engine; this car deserves its place in the Mad Max film. The crew plastered a new nose on the front end, stuck huge flares on the body and tucked some very thick tires under the main frame. The Mad Max franchise was heavily associated with its vehicles and this was one of the best. The most unique part of the car was the centrepiece that stuck out of the hood.  This supercharger is what boosts the power of the interceptor any time the protagonist felt the need to escape. This car truly embodied a power horse.

Tumbler – Batman Begins

Like the Bond cars, Batman is known to have his fair share of Batmoibles and in all of their permutations, has transcended and wowed generations. Christopher Nolan’s Batman Begins and The Dark Knight is probably the most ultimate and visually significant Batmobile. A beefy 350-cid Chevy V8 power the tank-like Tumbler to 60 mph in around 5 seconds and is probably the most meanest and ultimate car on the list.
