VIDEO: Mariette Rissenbeek describes German Films initiative for young german faces in TV Series

Mariette Rissenbeek is the Head of German Films and soon to be in charge of Berlinale with Locarno Fest colleague Carlo Chatrian.
She took  a moment to tell filmfestivals.com a bit about this year's initiative for young german faces in TV Series, while hosting a reception at Spree Gold by Zoo Palast.

We met the acting talent of the 4th edition of FACE TO FACE WITH GERMAN FILMS at a panel event and reception during the Berlinale Drama Series Days: FACE TO FACE WITH GERMAN FILMS 2019; Breaking Boundaries: German Acting Talent on German TV's ‘Golden Age’

This year's talents included:

Maria Dragus (THE WHITE RIBBON, TIGER GIRL, MARY QUEEN OF SCOTS)
Christian Friedel (13 MINUTES, BABYLON BERLIN, PERFUME)
Luise Heyer (JACK, DARK, THE MOST BEAUTIFUL COUPLE)
Jonas Nay (WE ARE YOUNG. WE ARE STRONG., DEUTSCHLAND 83/86, THE REBEL)
Jördis Triebel (BABYLON BERLIN, DARK, MY ZOE)
Fahri Yardim (ALMANYA, THE PHYSICIAN, DOGS OF BERLIN).

German acting talents discussed the fast-changing world of German TV and how the lines are blurring with film. The FACE TO FACE WITH GERMAN FILMS campaign celebrates modern German storytelling by promoting German cinema and series to international audiences.
