Under the leadership of new section head Jenni Zylka, Perspektive is going all-out: This year’s Perspektive Deutsches Kino programme is cutting-edge, controversial and emotional. Four full-length fiction films, three documentary films and two mid-length fiction films illustrate our sometimes painful attempts to understand the world – and improve it.

20 Year Anniversary of a Continuing Treasure Trove for Tomorrow’s Film Hits: At the Berlinale Co-Production Market, 33 Film Projects Will Meet International Co-producers

For the 20th Berlinale Co-Production Market (February 18 to 22), 33 promising film projects from 26 countries will be presented to find co-production and financing partners. They have been selected from among 468 submissions and will have 1,500 individual planned meetings. At least three completed films from previous years are in the Berlinale line-up.
