Hola Mexico Film Festival (HMFF) Inaugural held in NYC, July 23-28, 2008

The Hola Mexico Film Festival (HMFF) inaugural, presented by the 2008 New York International Latino Film Festival (NYLFF08), will be held at the QUAD Cinema, NYC, July 23 - 28, 2008. HMFF will showcase thirteen films (comedy, romance, drama and documentary) exploring the richness and diversity of contemporary Mexican cinema.

HMFF Opening Night Film of LLAMANDO UN ANGEL (Calling an Angel), winner of the Guadalajara Film Festival Audience Award, directed by Pancho Rodriguez, Hector Rodriguez, and Rodolfo Guzman will commence on Wednesday, July 23, 7:30 pm.  HMFF Opening Night Fiesta after party (live music, food, open bar) will be held at the Gallery Bar, 9:30 pm. 

 

HMFF Closing Night NY Premiere film of MEJOR ES QUE GABRIELA NO SE MUERA (It's Better if Gabriella Doesn't Die), directed/written by Sergio Umansky will commence on Monday, July 28, 8:00 pm.
