HMFF will showcase thirteen films (comedy, romance, drama and documentary) exploring the richness and diversity of contemporary Mexican cinema. HMFF Opening Night Film of LLAMANDO UN ANGEL (Calling an Angel), winner of the Guadalajara Film Festival Audience Award, directed by Pancho Rodriguez, Hector Rodriguez, and Rodolfo Guzman will commence on Wednesday, July 23, 7:30 pm. HMFF Opening Night Fiesta after party (live music, food, open bar) will be held at the Gallery Bar, 9:30 pm. HMFF Closing Night NY Premiere film of MEJOR ES QUE GABRIELA NO SE MUERA (It's Better if Gabriella Doesn't Die), directed/written by Sergio Umansky will commence on Monday, July 28, 8:00 pm.
