The Ninth Annual 2008 New York International Latino Film Festival (NYILFF), presented by HBO,  Opening Night Special Preview Screening of AMERICAN SON, directed by Neil Abramson, was held at the Directors Guild of America Theatre, New York, Tuesday, July 24, 7:00 PM. 

2008 NYILFF Opening Night Gala presented by Suzuki Auto, red carpet arrivals included cast of actors, artists, directors, producers, and celebrity guests.
