Latvian Animation Spring 2021 comes with some great news

2021 marks the 5th year of Latvian Animation Association! We have accomplished a lot in this period — we took part in festivals, organized meetings, screenings, market stands, discussions, lectures, and even gave soundscape to some beautiful student animations. Did You know? Probably not, therefore we would like to start a tradition of an occasional Newsletter that would pop up in Your emails when we have enough news to spread. We promise to keep them short, functional, and most importantly rare. This email is a pilot, let us know what you think about it! And remember there is always an unsubscribe button right at the bottom of the email

– Anna Zača, Head of the Board at Latvian Animation Association –

What's cooking?

Vassilis Kroustallis did an interview with Vladimir Leschiov for Zippy Frames

They talk about Leschiov's personal life, animation industry in Latvia, political climate and of course – Vladimir's newest film COMEBACK – in Selection L'Officiel at The Annecy International Animation Film Festival. This interview marks the first article made in partnership with Zippy Frames.
