The 2023 American Film Market® (AFM®) moves to Santa Monica’s Le Méridien Delfina on Pico

American Film Market 2022

The American Film Market®(AFM®) has chosen Santa Monica’s Le Méridien Delfina, located at 530 Pico Blvd., as its new headquarters, replacing the Loews which closed for lengthy renovations in early March.  Though that 30-year era has ended, we are delighted that our new location means you will be returning to the same sunny beachside city for AFM 2023, to familiar places and faces, and that you will be part of this exciting new chapter for the market.  

 

This move to Le Méridien just down the street will provide a new look for the AFM and a dynamic and innovative backdrop for you and your company to unite with the global film industry, showcase and discover the latest projects and offerings, connect with partners, and engage in conversations about marketplace insights and trends.  

 

The schedule for the AFM is the same as announced.  The event will take place on Tuesday, October 31st through Sunday, November 5th.  Taking part in AFM also will be consistent with prior years: 
  • Exhibitor Registration and pricing information will be made available in mid-April. Because this is a new venue, we will provide more visual references for office choices and work directly with you to identify the best match for your business needs and budget.
  • Buyer Registration will open on July 5, and we will offer a range of buyer-specific benefits, including a new Buyer Concierge, Buyer’s Lounge, and a full schedule of screenings in theatres as well as on-demand.
  • Industry Attendee Registration will also open on July 5 with a variety of badge options for you to accomplish your AFM goals.

AFM is the only sales market produced by the Independents for our industry.  Our focus and commitment, as always, is to provide you the best platform and most productive environment to conduct business.
