Lauren Spohn Bio - Best for Fests

Hello! My name is Lauren Spohn. I’m a Harvard graduate, Rhodes Scholar, private pilot, and PhD candidate in Intellectual History at Oxford. I write about people, airplanes, and ideas.

Lauren Spohn is an American writer and director from Texas. She graduated from Harvard College in 2020 and is pursuing a doctorate in intellectual history at the University of Oxford on a Rhodes Scholarship. An essayist, scholar, and private pilot, she writes about philosophy and literature in a number of academic and artistic media, with a focus on technology and aviation, narratives of modernity, and the re-enchantment of the world.
