The 2009 New York International Independent Film & Video Festival (NYIIFVF) presented by Independent Film Group and Independent Film Quarterly was held at the Village East Cinemas, New York, March 19 - 26, 2009. NYIIFVF annually present international independent films from emerging and established filmmakers, international art and music festivals, seminars, special events and after parties.
2009 NYIIFVF Premiere of TROMATIZED, MEET LLOYD KAUFMAN, directed by Fabien Martorell, a documentary feature based on the life of legendary director Lloyd Kaufman, commenced Tuesday, March 24, 8:00 PM. The film premiere red carpet arrivals included artists, directors, producers, industry professionals and celebrity guests.

2009 NYIIFVF Premiere of DIOS SALVE AL ROCK DE ESTADIO (God Save Arena Rock), directed by David Alvarez and Ivar Munoz-Rojas, a music documentary featuring MULETRAIN punk rock band from Spain, commenced Tuesday, March 24, 8:00 PM. The film premiere red carpet arrivals included cast of actors, artists, directors, producers and celebrity guests.
