Martin Scorsese Masterclass in Cannes

Exodus to Shanghai: this movie has it all

History, on-a-loop, has shown that it is just not only an ontological possibility but a historical reality.

Which is why we root for the underdogs, the davids, the oppressed.

Which is why we like movies like Schindler's List or movies like Exodus to Shanghai.

Based on a true story of Dr. Feng Shan Ho the Chinese Consul of Vienna. Dr. Ho, sometimes refered to as the Chinese Schindler, is even opposed by his own superior in  Berlin who needs help from Germany. Probably thereason whey the Chinese kept this story hidden for a long time since they did not looks so good in it.

This movie has it all: Romance, humour, action, drama, suspense... and great production values.

That good prevails over evil, is a theme I would go for any day.

I had the opportunity to watch it in the Berlinale. Do not miss it when it comes to a festival near you.Directed by Anthony Hickox (“Knife Edge” and “Consequence”)

Chinese Consul Dr. Ho (played by David Yu) goes against the will of the Nazi regime and its mercenaries to issue Exit Visas to Jews at the strategic time that Nazi Germany invaded Austria.

Film Maker 'Get Happy'

The film held its market premiere at the 2016 Berlinale EFM and has begun to sell worldwide to international distributors.

At the reception following the Market Premiere I met my friends from NYC Independent Film Festival who premiered my film Get Happy.

It's  small world!
