· Eight-minute Deadline, directed by Petros Papadopoulos and Zina Papadopoulou (Greece): A short film that depicts a world where mistakes are unacceptable and deadlines are intensely strict.
· Pianoworks 13, directed by Julien Martorell (France): With a combination of live action and motion design, four dancers perform different styles of dance showing a sort of calligraphic language.
· Niagara, directed by Léopold Dewolf (UK): A road trip film of two men with a million dollars in a bag.
· Voices, directed by Hussain Al-Riffaei (Bahrain): Recounts the story of a woman who is stuck between her present life that she tolerates and a past life that she is spiritually connected to.
· Nazi Goreng, directed by Nathan Nill (Germany): The portrayal of a young neo-Nazi who is under pressure, but stable until he escapes from the police and ends up in a strip club, thus throwing his world into complete disorder.
· EAT, directed by Moritz Krämer (Germany): A story of an unnerved model at a photo shoot who discovers that everything around her is edible.
· Dogsitting, directed by Sara Verhagen and Yannick Privat (France): An account of a young English dogsitter who discovers that man's beat friend can sometimes be an unexpected burden.
Each of ÉCU's 2013 Official Selection films demonstrate quality, innovation and indie spirit in both its cinematic style and content.
