From October 24 through November 2, 2014, Facets' Chicago International Children's Film Festival returns to celebrate its 31tst anniversary of presenting the best in child and youth cinema from around the world. This year's screening venues include Facets (1517 W. Fullerton), the Music Box Theatre (3733 N. Southport), Alliance Francais (810 N. Dearborn), and the Reva and David Logan Center for the Arts (915 E. 60th St.).

In addition to the films themselves, the CICFF enhances the film going experience with post screening Q&As with filmmakers, interactive workshops with special guests, peer-to-peer dialogues, filmmaker-led seminars, and the CICFF Children's and Youth Juries, encouraging kids and their families to connect with film and the festival in a variety of ways.

In addition, for each school and group field trip screening, the CICFF includes a comprehensive curriculum and expert staff led media education to encourage students to explore world cultures, language studies, creative arts, social studies, history, and literature -helping make media an enriching and participatory experience for Chicago-area kids.
