Chris Oosterom new artistic director Imagine
Chris Oosterom (49) worked as a programmer for festivals (Lowlands, Crossing Border) and cultural centres (Ekko, ‘t Paard).

He was also contributor and editor for film magazine Skriek. At the Filmmuseum he worked in programming and was responsible for distribution. For the last few years, Oosterom has operated from London, as co-owner of film and DVD-distributor Yume Pictures.

As artistic director of Imagine, he runs the festival together with business director Liselotte van der Burgt.


The Imagine Film Festival is a continuation of The Weekend of Terror (1984-1995) and the Festival van de Fantastische Film/Amsterdam Fantastic Film Festival (1996- 2007).
