Poster Winner Revealed for San Diego Latino Film Festival 2014

Poster Competition Winner by Jaime Carbo Marchesini

 

Festive, colorful, and dynamic! San Diego Latino Film Festival is proud to present this year's festival poster winner from Mexican artist Jaime Carbo Marchesini! We feel it perfectly embodies the playful and vibrant spirit of our 21st annual event. 

Bio: Mr. Carbo is a plastic/visual artist who has been working since youth in the Arts mainly in painting and sculpting but also in other art forms such as digital media and music. He has studied courses in Mexico city in schools such as the National Plastic Arts Academy and Real Academia de San Carlos. He has had several exhibitions collective and individual and has been working in painting and sculpting for films in the Baja Studios in the last years as a scenic artist.

Media Arts Center San Diego will be presenting the 21st Annual San Diego Latino Film Festival (SDLFF), March 13-23, 2014. This prestigious and internationally recognized festival celebrates films and videos by Latinos and/or about the Latino experience, screening over 150 works from across Latin America and throughout the United States.
