Kathleen Drumm has joined Toronto as Director, Industry Office

Kathleen Drumm

TIFF just announced that Kathleen Drumm has joined the organization as Director, Industry Office. Drumm will oversee all of TIFF Industry’s activities, including providing services to the more than 5,000 Industry delegates who attend the Toronto International Film Festival® each year, and the seven-day Industry Conference that takes place as a part of the Festival.

Drumm comes to TIFF from Screen Australia, where she was Head of Marketing. Previously, she was Head of Sales and Marketing at NZ Film. More recently Drumm has served as International Sales & Marketing Consultant for the Australia India Film Fund.

“Kathleen brings years of experience, a global outlook and a strong network of industry relationships to the position,” said Cameron Bailey, Artistic Director of the Toronto International Film Festival. “She knows every element of the international film world. We’re thrilled to welcome her to TIFF.”

“I'm excited to be joining TIFF, which I regard as a visionary and dynamic organization,” said Drumm. “I’m looking forward to working with the team to deliver innovative and meaningful programming, in response to the current challenges and opportunities facing the industry, globally.”

Drumm will report to Bailey and takes over from Justin Cutler, who left the Director position earlier this year. Her team includes Geoff Macnaughton, Senior Manager in the Industry department, and Savine Wong, who recently transitioned from a seasonal position programming TIFF’s Asian Film Summit to a position as Manager, Industry Programming.
