Building on the success of its first edition, the Helsinki International Film Festival follows up with a second edition of the Finnish Film Affair – the country’s main international industry showcase from Sept 24 to 26, 2013.

During HIFF (aka Love & Anarchy Sept 19-29 2013), the Finnish Film Affair presents new Finnish films and works-in-progress for sales agents, buyers, festival programmers and trade press. Approximately 250 film industry professionals from Finland and abroad are expected to attend.

The programming focus will be on about 30 titles of some of the latest and upcoming films with a wide range of genres. In addition the works in progress showcase will present about 10 productions in development. The line-up of projects will be announced mid-August. Besides the Finnish titles, the participants have a chance to see recent Russian, Estonian and Nordic films featured in the festival programme. The domestic films will also be available for industry guests to view in the new Finnish Film Affair online screening library.
