There is no better way to open this year’s festival than with G.B.F., a groundbreaking twist on the classic teen comedy. When closet-case Tanner (Michael J. Willett) is outed by his high school’s overeager GSA, he becomes a hot commodity for three teen queens who believe that a G.B.F. – “gay best friend” – is this season’s must-have accessory.
