Film North Announces 2014 Opening Night Feature Screening

Film North, Huntsville International Film Festival announced today their first program leak. 
 
Watermark will be the opening night feature film on Thursday September 18th at the Algonquin Theatre, Huntsville, Ontario.
 
Lucy Wing, CEO and founder of Film North said, “Watermark has been secured as our opening night feature.  Our audience is familiar with the work of Jennifer Baichwal and Edward Burtynsky having viewed Manufactured Landscapes as our inaugural feature film in 2009.  We welcome their outstanding new work Watermark and know that our audience will appreciate this high quality production with an environmental theme.”

Watermark had its world premiere at TIFF in 2013 and has gone on to win the Toronto Film Critics Award 2013 and the Canadian Screen Award for Best Feature Length Documentary 2013.
 
Film North runs September 18th through September 20th 2014 with gala receptions and after parties each night.  Tickets will be on sale through the Algonquin Theatre box office in Huntsville or online at www.algonquintheatre.ca in September.
