The Academy of Canadians in Sports & Entertainment - Los Angeles (ACISE-LA) has officially announced the list of nominees for the 2016 Golden Maple Awards in the categories of Best Actor, Best Actress and Newcomer of the Year, in a TV Series Broadcasted in the US.

Nominees are Canadian talent in TV series broadcasted in the US between July 1, 2015 and July 1, 2016.

The nomination committee for the GMA was composed of ACISE-LA members.

All members of ACISE-LA will be voting to elect the winners.

Not only are the Golden Maple Awards celebrating Canadian talent in the US, the awards will symbolically be held on Canada Day, which this year is on Wednesday, July 1, 2016 at the SLS hotel Beverly Hills.

Amanda Crew and Giacomo Gianniotti are both nominated in two categories.
Emily Hampshire is nominated twice in the same categories.
