Exciting events in the past week!

Today is the 8th day of Reykjavik International Film Festval. Exciting events have taken place and thought provoking films have been screened. 

But there is more to come. On saturday there will be a mistery screening of a film connected to one of our honorary guest. And the guest will be there. More info will be announced later on riff.is

Videos of masterclasses!

We have had interesting masterclasses during this week with hour honorary guests. For those who didn't make it there do not despair. Here you can see a recording of Deepa Mehta's masterclass. And here is Brontis Jodorowsky's mastersclass. He came to Iceland representing his father's Alejandro Jodorowsky's work. 

Today Darren Aronofsky, director of Black Swan and Requiem for a dream had a masterclass in the University of Iceland where he talked about his film and how they are affected with his interest in environmental issues.
