The 2nd edition of SR Socially Relevant Film Festival will take place in New York at several venues March 16-22.

This year’s lineup of 54 films opens with Come to my Voice, at CUNY Graduate Center, Proshansky Auditorium March 16, at 7pm. We will be specially honored by your presence at this film and the opening party following it immediately. Attached you will find the invitation and information on both these events and a press release.

The festival’s timely and socially engaging selection offers World and U.S. premieres and interesting industry panels. This year there are 33 countries represented in the film selection. We hope you can join us at these screenings during the week. There will be receptions at the Copenhagen Restaurant next door to Tribeca Cinemas where you can relax with free WiFi and enjoy complimentary hors d’oeuvres and drinks in a comfortable cinema friendly atmosphere. Please check our website for individual screening times: www.ratedsrfilms.org

Founded in 2013, the festival runs from March 16 - 22, at Tribeca Cinemas, Maysles Cinema, the Quad Cinema & SVA (Chelsea campus). A wide range of social issues are portrayed during the week of the festival, namely:  Gun control & police brutality, race relations & discrimination, violence against women & empowering women, LGBT rights, conflict in the Mideast, the environment & climate change, the US economy & oil rush, immigration & exile.
