8:30pm     CLOCLO (149 min) 2012, Florent Emilio Siri  – MUSICAL BIOPIC that will introduce you to one of France’s biggest stars: Claude François, alias Cloclo, the man who co-wrote and created the song “Comme d’habitude”, later made famous by Frank Sinatra under the name “My Way…”

11:00am   THE SUITOR (LE SOUPIRANT, 84 min) 1963, Pierre Étaix – A hilarious CLASSIC COMEDY unseen for more than thirty years due to a legal dispute.

1:05pm     STARBUCK (100 min) 2012, Ken Scott – a fun and original COMEDY from Quebec with a script so good that
Hollywood is already working on a remake starring Vince Vaughn. We love Vaughn, but Patrick Huard, a star in Quebec, is quite impressive in the role!

3:35pm     THREE WORLDS (TROIS MONDES, 101 min) 2012, Catherine Corsini – a SOCIAL THRILLER starring Clothilde Hesme, one of our favorite French actresses, seen in THE GROCER’S SON at the Crocker in May.

Zigman is the author of WORLD'S COOLEST MOVIE STAR, the two-volume biography and filmography of French movie legend Jean Gabin (www.jeangabinbook.com), which was one of critic Leonard Maltin's picks for Best Film Book of 2009.
