Edge Entertainment wraps up Cannes with the acquisition of Disorder, screened in Un Certain Regard during the festival.

Disorder (Maryland, International sales: Indie Sales) from director Alice Winocour, is centered on Vincent a French ex-soldier struggling with PTSD who is hired to protect the wife and child of a wealthy Lebanese businessman while he is out of town. Despite the apparent tranquility, Vincent perceives an external threat. Starring Matthias Schoenaerts (Rust and Bone, Bullhead, The Drop) and Diane Kruger (Inglourious Basterds, National Treasure), Disorder is a tense and thought-provoking thriller from a unique directorial voice.

Edge has acquired Disorder for Scandinavia and Iceland. IFC has acquired the US rights. Mars Films distributes the film In France.

During the Cannes Film Festival Edge also acquired Valley of Love by Guilluame Nicloux starring Isabelle Huppert and Gerard Depardieu and high profile doc Palio directed by Cosima Spender.
