Martin Scorsese Masterclass in Cannes

 

 

 

World Cinema Fund Day on Wednesday, February 12, 2014

The WCF invites all friends of the WCF, as well as international representatives of the trade and press to the WCF Day on February 12, 2014.

 

After welcoming words from Festival Director Dieter Kosslick, and WCF project managers Sonja Heinen and Vincenzo Bugno, Jorge Sánchez, director of the Instituto Mexicano de Cinematografía will present the IMCINE Award. This new prize will be awarded by IMCINE to all Mexican films that receive funding from the World Cinema Fund in the next three years. The IMCINE-Award is endowed with 15,000 Euro.

 

Following the presentation, two WCF panel discussions will be held (in English).

 

Location: Filmhaus Berlin – Potsdamer Str. 2

Open to the public until places are filled, priority to accredited guests

 

11:45 am: Welcome and presentation of the IMCINE Award

 

12:00 noon: Panel discussion
