TomCat Films rises as subsidiary under Rising India, Inc.

TomCat Films has negotiated and executed a Letter of Intent for RSII to acquire TomCat Films and its sister company Summer Hill Films as a wholly owned subsidiary of Rising India, Inc. (OTC: RSII), a company focused in undervalued opportunities in hospitality and media.

TomCat Films LLC is a vertically integrated film sales, licensing and distribution company helmed by industry expert Ted Chalmers. The company is headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona with affiliate locations in Beverly Hills, California, New York City, New York, and Selangor, Malaysia. TomCat specializes in the sub-distribution and licensing of film and TV product to buyers, distributors, broadcasters and industry participants.

The company distributes over 100 feature films with distribution deals in place worldwide. Many of TomCat's films can be seen on Netflix, InDemand, Family Video, Best Buy, Amazon and other establishments in the U.S./Canada and around the world.

Its sister company, Summer Hill Films is a U.S. theatrical distributor and worldwide sales company with international and domestic appeal. It was formed as a supplemental label to provide the growing need for high quality theatrical and TV product to non-genre buyers. The new label will provide a full range of producer-friendly services relating to the sales, marketing, licensing and distribution of mainstream feature films, television and special interest content across all media in the worldwide market. The label represents an impressive base of titles in its second year of operation, including American Sophomore, starring Patrick Warburton and Amanda Plummer, Havana Heat with Gil Bellows and the remastered sci-fi classic, Moontrap, with Bruce Campbell and Walter Koenig.

The LOI includes bringing on sales and distribution veteran Ted Chalmers, who founded TomCat Films, as COO. Ted began his career in 1990 working with Paul Rich at Trans Atlantic Entertainment. After its sale to Lakeshore, he went on to lead the sales at Creative Light Entertainment and Moving Pictures Film and Television. He was also Senior VP of Media Brokerage for ICAP Media, a division of ICAP Plc. He has been involved with the sales and distribution of such well-known films as The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation, Hellraiser, Escape From New York, One False Move, Re-Animator and Evil Dead 2, among other classics.

The Acquisition will be made using shares from the Company's Outstanding Common Class shares with due diligence currently underway toward a swift acquisition by end of Q1 2016. Rising India will provide resources and capital to expand the distribution labels with Chalmers attending all the major film markets including the American Film Market, Hong Kong Filmart, The Cannes Film Festival. TomCat/SummerHill is returning from EFM in Berlin today and reports a successful market with sales to Germany, Scandinavia, Taiwan, Japan, and Poland.
