THE MINE

THE CARER
The great stage actor Sir Michael Gifford is now ageing, in ill health and is an incorrigible grump, impossible to care for. In steps Dorottya, a young ambitious actress - unafraid to speak her mind. The two clash hilariously, and ultimately find in each other a spark of inspiration. But as Sir Michael’s jealous ex lover and his stern daughter converge on Dorottya - thinking her a bad influence and plotting to get rid of her - Dorottya leads Sir Michael, against all advice and good sense, back to the stage for his ultimate triumph.
