RIVERSTONE PICTURES has closed financing on Stanley Tucci’s FINAL PORTRAIT, with principal photography due to start this month. Starring Geoffrey Rush and Armie Hammer, the film focuses on a period towards the end of the life of artist Giacometti and is a Potboiler production. Gail Egan produces for Potboiler alongside Nik Bower for Riverstone Pictures and Ilann Girard.  Deepak Nayar serves as Executive Producer and the film is produced in association with Olive Productions, Lowsun Productions and Arsam International.  International Sales are through HanWay Films, with CAA handling the US.

GENIUS, Riverstone Pictures’ first film as a financier, will premiere In Competition at the forthcoming Berlin Film Festival. It is the debut feature of celebrated theatre director Michael Grandage and stars Colin Firth, Jude Law, Nicole Kidman and Laura Linney.

Riverstone Pictures is also in post-production on Open Road Films’ SLEEPLESS NIGHT, starring Jamie Foxx and Michelle Monaghan, which is slated for a summer 2016 release.  SLEEPLESS NIGHT is the first of a number of films that Riverstone Pictures and Open Road Films will produce together.
