64th Berlinale Programme Press Conference The press conference will take place on January 28, 2014 at 11 a.m. The programme will be available online starting at noon. https://www.berlinale.de/en/presse/presseservice/service.html
Free Wi-Fi in the Press Centre Good news: For the first time, free Wi-Fi will be available to all journalists in the Press Centre at the Grand Hyatt Hotel.
New Opening Times for the Press Ticket Counter The Press Ticket Counter in the Press Centre (Grand Hyatt Hotel) will open earlier in 2014. The opening times are February 6 - 14 from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and February 15 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. (This service is valid only for the Press Ticket Counter)
European Film Market (EFM) - Market Screenings at the Zoo Palast The EFM is expanding its market screening capacities with five theatres in the newly re-opened Zoo Palast. In addition, the EFM is continuing its cooperation with IFA, partner for the Industry Debates. It takes place February 7 - 9 in cooperation with the trade magazines Variety, The Hollywood Reporter and Screen International.
German Cinema - Lola@Berlinale Moves to the Zoo Palast The lovingly restored Zoo Palast is German cinema's new home. For the first time, the Lola series, part of the European Film Market, will take place here, screening the films pre-selected for the German Film Award.

Berlinale Goes Kiez – Venues in 2014 In 2014 the Berlinale’s Flying Red Carpet will travel the city again and stop for one evening at the following seven arthouse cinemas: the Adria Filmtheater (Steglitz), Eiszeit Kino (Kreuzberg), Passage (Neukölln), Eva Lichtspiele (Wilmersdorf), Thalia Programm Kino Potsdam (Potsdam), Kino Toni & Tonino (Weißensee) as well as the filmkunst 66 (Charlottenburg).
28th Teddy Award The most significant queer film award worldwide will open its 28th edition with the "Grand Opening Night" at SchwuZ on February 7. Perspektive Deutsches Kino The Perspektive programme is complete. A striking number of films by young German directors are set in foreign countries. Competition and Berlinale Special Eight films have been confirmed for Competition to date, with Berlinale Special not far behind. Nymphomaniac Volume I The 150-minute, uncensored version of Lars von Trier's Nymphomaniac Volume I will screen out of competition in the Competition section.

Panorama Around 50 films will make up the Panorama programme - 19 are confirmed so far.
