VIDEO - 76th Golden Globes: Backstage at the Nominations

At 5:05 AM December 7, cameras rolled and in the usual pre-dawn ritual nominations were announced for the 76th Annual Golden Globe Awards. Ceremony producer (for Dick Clark Productions) Barry Adelman and HFPA President Meher Tatna were on hand to start the proceedings, as well as Golden Globe Ambassador Isan Elba. Danai Gurira, Christian Slater, Terry Crews and Leslie Mann helped us do the honors. The HFPA’s Ramzi Malouki was also there. Here’s how it went down.

This year's Best Picture - Drama nominees are Black Panther, BlacKkKlansman, Bohemian Rhapsody, If Beale Street Could Talk, and A Star Is Born. In the category of Best Picture - Musical or Comedy, the nominees are Crazy Rich Asians, The Favourite, Green Book, Mary Poppins Returns, and Vice. Dick Cheney biopic Vice received six nominations, the most of any film, A Star Is Born The Favourite and Green Book picked up five nominations each.
