Based on the international, best-selling novel by the same name, The Fat Boy Chronicles is also the recipient of the Dove Family Approved seal. Written by Michael Buchanan and Diane Lang, the duo behind the best-selling novel, and directed by Jason Winn, the film is about an obese high school student forced to deal with self-image issues, bullying and a desire for self-improvement.
“The Fat Boy Chronicles will continue to be part of our efforts to combat bullying and childhood obesity.” -- Peter Gorman Superintendant of Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools
The film is inspired by a true story about an obese 9th grader in Cincinnati and a novel was released in 2010. The film also deals with other issues that teenagers face in an uplifting an compassionate way.

Found In Time
|
|
Found In Time takes place in an “altered” present-day New York City. Psychics with real powers sell their “wares” on the street, marginalized by society and closely monitored by the dreaded Psychological Police Corp (the “Psycops”). They lead dark, lonely lives, plagued as much as helped by their gifts.
Chris is a psychic “collector.” He compulsively picks up the things most of us throw away or forget — pens, coins, lighters, keys, stones, and other trash — and sells them to passersby. But every object he picks today will have meaning for someone in the future.
His gift comes with a big downside, however — he experiences his life out of order, “slipping” between the past, present and future. Chris tries to live a “regular” existence, and struggles to get his “slippage” under control.
But when he commits murder in the future, he realizes he has to alter his present in order to prevent it. But how can he do this when he’s not even sure of when he is?

The Congregation
|
Over the top personalities and mayhem ensue in this quirky comedy about life at church. Rain (Courtney Harris) every so lightly introduces us to the church that she loves, a church that has been scarred a couple times recently with sex scandals involving the pastor. There’s a new pastor in place, but it’s pretty clear from the get go that not everyone is quite ready to move on from the trauma and the drama of the past.
