Three Spanish films among the selection to the EFA

Los amantes pasajeros (I'm So Excited!) directed by Pedro Almodóvar, Lo imposible (The Impossible) by Juan Antonio Bayona and Blancanieves by Pablo Berger are in the list of pre-nominated films to the European Film Awards.

The final list of nominees will be announced at the Seville European Film Festival (SEFF 2013) on November 9th.

The EFA PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARD

Los amantes pasajeros (I'm So Excited!) directed by Pedro Almodóvar and Lo imposible (The Impossible) directed by Juan Antonio Bayona chosen for this award.

This is the award that allows film fans across Europe to elect their favourite European film. When the European Film Academy invites its members, Europe’s greatest film stars, directors, actors and actresses, to attend the European Film Awards, the People’s Choice Award sheds a spotlight on the people films are made for, the audience!

Until 31 October, film fans were able to cast their vote on this website. Thousands participated to elect their favourite film and win a chance to attend the 26th European Film Awards.

This year’s 26th European Film Awards will return to Berlin, seat of the European Film Academy.

On Saturday, 7 December, European filmmakers, EFA Members, guests, nominees and winners will gather at the Haus der Berliner Festspiele, one of the most significant theatre buildings of post-war Germany. The ceremony will again be broadcast throughout Europe (a list of broadcasters will be available here in due time) and be streamed live on this website.
